Sammy is married
to Anita. They have two children, Jeffrey and Lauren. Sammy
graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1994 with a
Bachelor of Music. Sammy also has earned a Master of
Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary in 1997 and 2004 respectively. Sammy
has been the pastor of First Baptist since October of 2009.
